Bridge, Brace & Body Repair Workshop
8 Day Boot Camp (64 hours of training)
This program provides skills training for guitar repair tech’s to learn advanced repair & restoration techniques. Students entering the advanced course must have either completed one of our previous Guitar Tech & Setup Workshops or pass an entrance exam before being admitted to the workshop.

We will cover the following:
- Structural repairs (broken headstocks, braces, body cracks)
- Bridge & bridge plate replacement
- How to replace a pickgaurd on acoustic guitars
- Finish touchup
- Advanced administrative requirements (insurance, business license, resale certificates, etc.)
- Advanced customer service skills
Students need to bring at-least two All-Solid Wood Acoustic Guitars. Workshop includes a complete tool kit, materials & supplies.
Workshop cost is $4,200 per student. 50% of tuition is due 30 days before the workshop begins. The remaining balance is due on the first day of class.
Workshop includes tool kit ( $2,400 value ), materials & supplies, and training manuals.

Students receive a Professional Tool Kit
All students will receive a professional tool kit (yours to keep). In addition, we will provide all supplies & study materials for each student. In other words, we will never nickel & dime you for things you need during class.
Classes are limited to 4 students
We limit all of our Workshops to 4 students. Training is hands-on, our goal is for every student to fully comprehend the curriculum. Learning in a small class, you won’t have to fight the crowd to get a question answered.
Grading
Grading is based on three types of exam; written, performance and presentation. Students with a grade of 80% or higher will receive a certificate of completion. Students who score 88% or higher will receive a letter of recommendation.
